Come explore micro nature! Learn how to use a microscope and prepare slides. View plant cells, aquatic microorganisms, and even your own cells!
This outdoor STEM workshop will be located next to the Clarke County Library in Rose Hill Park (look for the tent) and is facilitated by Steven Cummings a chemical engineering doctoral student. Steven will lead us in a discussion about the differences between plant and animal cell biology. What are morphological differences between cells? We'll find out! Take home digital copies of photos you take with the microscopes to show families and friends!
No registration is required. Children under age 10 must be accompanied by a caregiver.
