Handley Regional Library System announces the following weekly updates and programs to the community:
“Expect the Unexpected” Used Book Sale Now-August 22 – Appointments Required
This book sale has adjustments due to COVID-19 and proceeds will fund library programs and services. Appointments are required with a 1-hour time limit. Prices range from $1-$2 and will start with non-fiction titles. Full details here.
Free Family Movie Nights Streaming on Hoopla
Hoopla, our online streaming service for movies, music, TV, and more with a library card, is featuring family movie nights available here.
New Service Launched: Book Match!
To use the free service, patrons simply answer a few quick questions on an online form on the library system’s website about preferred reading formats, a description of recently enjoyed books, genres/books you do not want to read, and more. Library staff will search to compile a list of suggested reads within a few days and send the patron a personalized email curated with a list of books.
