Are you secretly a ninja? Can you sneak through the night like a shadow? Are you an expert in surprise attacks?
This week is Ninja week at Handley Regional Library Storytimes! Bring your little ninja-in-training to one of our three library branches, Bowman, Clarke County, or Handley to hear some stealth stories of ninja warriors.
Don't forget to grab some ninja books with the help of the tag: #ninjawarriors. You can act out some sneak attacks and explore movement with the ninja fun, singing some songs that explore action words, counting, and even create a ninja face with some common shapes with the rhyme and songs below.
Make a NINJA! Cut out shapes to go with the following rhyme:
Do you see a ninja? I do.
To make a ninja, first we need a head.
This one is round and red.
The rectangle will make a space,
Just big enough for a peeking out face.
Next we’ll add two small circles for eyes
And two tiny rectangles, to make our ninja look surprised!
