We reopened our buildings to the public with limited services and adjusted hours and building occupancy on July 8, 2020. The stats below represent community usage from July 8-11 at all three library locations – Bowman Library, Clarke County Library, and Handley Library.

- 1,500+ In-Person visits from library patrons
- 8,320 Checkouts of physical materials (books, Launch Pads, Wifi hotspots, DVDs, etc.)
- 52 New library cards were issued
Additionally, the Stewart Bell Jr. Archives (located at Handley Library) reported the following:
- 20 Visitors with 10 confirmed research appointments
- Notable research project from a patron visiting from Reston included the use of manuscripts and photographs for a magazine article she is writing about the anniversary of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
