Program Description

Event Details

Do you have German ancestry but have been hesitant to start your family history research?  Do not continue to put your research on the back burner.  Anne Bacon has spent many years tracing her own German ancestry and will present a program based on her many years of experience. In this program she will give advice and tips for finding your German ancestors.

Anne Bacon is a retired rheumatologist who practiced for 39 years and has lived in Winchester for 41 years. She has been doing genealogy occasionally since childhood but more seriously in the last 15 years. Three quarters of her family is German, so she has been doing mostly German genealogy and has experienced both the joys and the frustrations of German genealogy.
