Event Details

Celebrate your library leading up to National Library Week by making a marshmallow Peeps diorama showcasing your favorite book! All ages.

HOW IT WORKS:
  1. March 16-23: Register as an individual or on behalf of a group. Once you receive a confirmation email, stop by the Handley Library Youth Services Department (2nd floor) to pick up your kit. All kits include a set of 5 Peeps, a round or rectangle cake board, and an icing decorating tip set.
  2. March 23-30: Build your diorama at home using the kit (and anything else at home) that features your favorite book.
  3. By March 30: Bring your finished diorama into the Handley Library Youth Services Department (2nd floor) for display and voting.
  4. April 1-13: Vote for your favorite dioramas, including Best in Class (for each age category: 5-11, 12-17, or Family) and Peeple's Choice (best overall).
  5. Week of April 14: Winners announced on social media and via email. Pick up your diorama by this time or else they will be eaten!
