Some people end a career and retire. Others end a career and start reinventing themselves. Brent L. Kendrick is one of the "others," except he's had two successful careers and is now reinventing himself as he begins a new life chapter. Fall 2022 was Dr. Kendrick’s last semester as a full-time Professor of English at Laurel Ridge Community College where he taught more than 7,000 students over a twenty-three-year career. Before that, he enjoyed a 25-year career at the Library of Congress where he received the institution’s Distinguished Service Award. These days, he's reinventing himself for a third time, and he's off to an impressive start. Already, he has written and published two books. If you're considering your own new beginnings, if you're an aspiring writer, if you're a lover of short stories, or if you're just looking to be inspired, this is the perfect program for you.

Dr. Kendrick will speak and read from his works. He will also be selling and signing his books.
