There is a general district court in each city and county in Virginia. The general district court handles traffic violations, hears minor criminal cases known as misdemeanors, and conducts preliminary hearings for more serious criminal cases called felonies.
Virginia Free Legal Answers is a pro bono service of the Virginia State Bar and American Bar Association where low-income users can submit their legal questions online and get free answers from a licensed Virginia lawyer in good standing.

It features easy navigation and readable presentation of content. Visitors can search across all of Virginia Law to find the information they want, without having to know where the information resides.
This Virginia State Bar services allows users to get an up-to-30-minute call with a local lawyer for $35. There are no strings attached and sometimes that 30-minute call is enough to solve the legal issue. The new online portal allows people to put in their legal issue and geographic location and be referred a lawyer 24/7.
