SCOPE AND CONTENT: This collection contains an assortment of records from the Revolutionary War, primarily of Frederick County, VA; Hampshire and Jefferson Counties, WV; Allegheny County, MD; and Bucks County, PA, USA. Also included are genealogical materials of the Lower Shenandoah Valley, VA, personal correspondence (1937-1980), court records, cemetery lists, scrapbooks, and wills. 

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: Daisy Dean Amick, the compiler of this collection, was a Frederick County, VA resident who lived from 1906 to 1981. She served in World War II as a Lt. Army nurse. She was an active member of the Fort Loudoun chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution (DAR) in Winchester, VA.
