Scope and Content: The collection is composed of material of the Winchester (VA) Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks-Lodge No. 867 newsletters for years 1948-1962, 1971-1978, and 1981-1983. Scrapbooks for years 1983, 1979, 1978, and 1965 are included with Question Book and Roll of Officers.

Biographical/Historical: BPO Elks Winchester Lodge No. 867 began in 1903. In 1917, the local lodge purchased the Lloyd Logan home located on the corner of Braddock and Piccadilly Streets. In 1998, they built a new facility on Rt. 522 South.
