SCOPE AND CONTENT: This collection contains the memoir Three Generations in Winchester, Virginia by Mary Bahlman Blum. The book is the memoir of Mary Bahlman Blum who was born in Winchester, VA in 1906 and died in Atlanta, GA in 1988. The collection also contains news clippings, and other material relating to the Bahlman family and others mentioned in her reminiscences.

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: Mary Bahlman Blum was born in 1906 and was raised in Winchester, VA during the early 20th century. She graduated from Fort Loudoun Seminary and Bernard College. She also completed graduate work in history and taught school. She died in Atlanta, GA in 1988. Her daughter, Judy Blum Greenberg, typed and edited these memoirs.
