Scope and Content: This collection contains account books, wills, estate papers, correspondence, legal papers, and genealogical materials concerning the Robert D. and Robert J. Glass family.

Biographical/Historical: Robert David was born Dec. 12, 1771, to Robert and Elizabeth Fulton Glass. On Dec. 24, 1805, he married Elizabeth Rust and had five children. Robert. D. Glass died on Dec. 12, 1844, and is buried in the Opequon Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Winchester, VA.
