SCOPE AND CONTENT: The Michael Fitzgerald Collection contains poems, essays, and other writing by Michael Fitzgerald, as well as news clippings about his life and work.  

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: Michael Fitzgerald is a poet living and working in the Shenandoah Valley. He has published numerous books of poetry and nonfiction, children’s literature, and magazines articles, and his poems have been published in major American poetry journals. He studied at Wesleyan University, Earlham College, and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
