SCOPE AND CONTENT:  The John H. Myers Records consists of one account book kept by John H. Myers of Frederick County, Virginia. Most entries are for the year 1848 with one page recording monies owed by Meyers in 1905. There is also a certificate presented to John H. Myers from Governor Byrd when he became the Virginia representative to U.S. Good Roads Association in 1927.

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: John H.Myers was the owner of this account book and ran a general merchandising business in Frederick County, Virginia.
