Bibliography: Hilda O. Parker was born on April 20, 1917 in Albin, VA to William A. and Goldie Smith Orndorff. On Nov. 19, 1942, she married Arthur E. Parker. She worked as secretary to Governor Harry F. Byrd, Sr. She was also a member of the Albin Homemakers Club and Burnt Presbyterian Church. She died on October 21, 1991 and was buried in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
