BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL: The first edifice of Shiloh Baptist Church, then known as the Old Church, was built in 1888 on land purchased from Mrs. Marie Edmund. This lot was later sold and the church was replaced by an ice plant. The current church structure, built in 1911, is located in the 500 block of N. Kent Street.  It was obtained from a former Winchester resident, Mrs. Ada Jackson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
