Scope and Content: The collection contains Confederate money from Corporation of Winchester and Bank of the Valley in Virginia and promotional cards for businesses Heiston, Witt and Son, J.M. Orndoff, Shenandoah Valley National Bank, and J.W. Rosenberger. Wood family receipts from 1803 to 1830 and two 1858 sheriff notices to pay for Red Fox Scalps are included. Also included from Winchester, VA are a 1937 color picture news newsletter from Pete’s Service Center and four receipts from the early 1800s.
