Our teen book spotlight this week is focused on books that are all school inspired to get us into the back to school groove!  The start of a new school year is filled with all sorts of different emotions and these stories are ones that are as well but in all of them, the school plays an integral role either in the setting, developing friendships and relationships, making decisions for the future, and so much more.  Hopefully these titles will help to get the school year started off right.  These books and more can be found by searching the catalog using the search tag

Now Handley Regional Library patrons can hold the library in the palm of their hands! With a new mobile app, called MyLIBRO, Handley Regional Library System patrons have access to a variety of library resources through their mobile phones and tablets. The MyLIBRO app is already available through the App Store.

Our teen book spotlight this week is all about Possibilities of Change!!!  We are exploring books that are inspirational and explore the idea and concepts of changing ourselves and the world around us; we have an incredible mixture of fiction and nonfiction titles this week which will open our eyes to others and situations around us and will inspire us to make and lead change through our example.

The Handley Regional Library System is excited to offer tours of the downtown Handley Library Branch on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 11 AM. This tour is FREE and open to the public. Meet on the Lower Level to start your tour at 11 AM.

The Handley Library branch tour will take you behind the scenes to all floors of the building. Learn about the unique architecture and amazing history of this beautiful library. Walk on the famous glass floors, and see the well under the stage.  

Our teen book spotlight this week is all about Possibilities from the Past!!!  We are exploring books that deal with past events, individuals, or time periods--through both fiction and nonfiction--as there is so much we can learn.  We can learn how we are still being impacted from things already done, what choices not to make, or to open our eyes to some amazing individuals who have made a difference without us even knowing and we should know.  Books have the ability to do that--to let us learn about our possibilities from the past.  These books and more can be found by

Our teen book spotlight this week is all about Possibilities of Exploration!!!  We are taking a look at stories that feature hobbies, games, and activities that you may be doing right now or may be inspired to explore and try this summer or in the future.  Because of all of the possibilities, there is a little bit of something for everyone--some are more serious than others while we have some fiction and nonfiction as well as others that combine different types of genres.  You may be inspired to try something new and the book you read may be the jumping off point you need.&nb

Our teen book spotlight this week is all about Possibilities into the Unknown!!!  We are exploring books that have an element of unknowing what is going to happen so we have a great mixture of mysteries, suspense, thrillers, plot twists, and horror because who doesn’t love a good edge of your seat storyline every now and then to keep us on our reading toes.  These elements can be found in so many different stories so there are a lot of cross genres as well which are so much fun to read and explore.  Hopefully these books and others will keep you guessing right with the main c

Our teen book spotlight this week is all about Possibilities of Fantastical Beings!!  We are taking a look at titles that include monsters, beings, creatures, and anything else you can imagine that is made up in fantasy and mythology.  What is amazing about these stories is that anything goes; creatures can be anything the author can imagine and then you as the reader get the chance to develop them in your imagination as well.  These books and more can be found by searching the catalog using the search tags

Our teen book spotlight this week is all about Possibilities of Adventure!!  We are taking a look at books that have an element of adventure to them--but that word may mean different things to different individuals.  For some, adventure could be climbing Mount Everest while to others, adventure for them may mean trying a new pizza topping for Friday night dinner; you can even live vicariously through the characters in an adventure packed story.  We have an awesome selection of titles this week including some romance, science fiction, musical inspired, and even a volcanic erup
