Are you learning a language and need to practice having conversations? Come to the library and chat with a native speaker! Practice language skills in a casual and judgement-free environment. Whether your second language is English or something else, we will do our best to find a conversation partner for you. 

We are seeking any and all volunteers from as many languages as possible. If you would like to be a conversation partner or if you have a specific language you would like us to help find a partner for, please contact Mandy Foote at (540) 869-9000 ext. 210 or email afoote@handleyregional.org.

If we don't have your language yet, please don't be discouraged. We're always seeking new participants and we'd love to see this get as big as it can!
