We are excited to announce the beginning of the ever popular Little Noon Music, a free music series featuring a variety of genres. John Arnold will open the 2019-2020 series at Handley Library on November 8th at 12:15PM. The performance, free and open to the public, will feature classical guitar music. The performance is sponsored by the Friends of the Handley Regional Library System.
About the Performer
John S. Arnold teaches guitar ensemble, flute & guitar ensemble, guitar literature & guitar pedagogy. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed with numerous ensembles and venues including the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, Allentown Symphony Orchestra, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, and Wall Guitar Festival. In 2011, Shenandoah Conservatory presented John with the Alumnus of Excellence Award. In addition to teaching and performing, John has been a judge for numerous guitar competitions including the Schadt String Competition, Philadelphia Classical Guitar Competition, John & Susie Beatty Competition, and Godfrey Daniels.
